Our Story
After years of training and racing Standardbred horses, followed by time spent behind a office desk in a family business, Ev felt a powerful pull back to her true roots – horse country. She purchased a farm in Kentucky, determined to build a life filled with purpose, care, and connection.
While researching sustainable agriculture and high-quality food, she discovered the remarkable qualities of purebred Berkshire pigs. Inspired by the rich flavor, tender meat, and exceptional marbling, Ev founded a farm committed to raising premium Berkshire pork with integrity and intention. But her vision reached far beyond pork.
Passionate about animal welfare, Ev also dedicates part of the farm to horse rescue, offering retired and at-risk horses a safe haven to heal, live, and be loved. Her mission is rooted in values: humane care, responsible stewardship, and a genuine bond between farm, animals, and community.
From the outset, the farm has sought to bridge the gap between farm and table. The pigs are raised with respect, ample space, fresh air, and a wholesome diet – reflecting a deep commitment to transparency, sustainability, and superior quality at every stage.
